Keith Engler is Chief Executive Officer of Clear Creek Resource Partners. Keith has over 20 years of diverse technical experience predominantly focused on basins located in the Rocky Mountain region. In addition to leading the Clear Creek Resource Partners management team, Keith is responsible for reserve evaluation and reporting, business development and strategic planning.
Keith’s corporate background includes technical and management roles at Elk Creek Energy (July 2004 to January 2017), Savant Resources (July 2005 to January 2009), EnCana Oil & Gas (July 2000 to 2004), and Orbis Engineering (July 1994 to July 2000). Keith has a long history with successful resource play development and has been active in both oil and natural gas projects including the Jonah Field, Piceance Basin, Barnett Shale, Bakken Shale and DJ Basin. Keith has demonstrated an ability to identify unrecognized value which has led to significant returns on investment for company investors.
Keith was raised in Craig, Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a registered Professional Engineer in both Colorado and Wyoming and is a past chairman of the Denver Section of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (SPEE).
Ryan Zorn is President & Chief Financial Officer of Clear Creek Resource Partners. Ryan has over 20 years of finance and investment experience in the upstream oil and gas sector. In addition to co-leading the Clear Creek management team, Ryan is responsible for the company’s corporate finance, business development and strategic planning.
Ryan’s corporate background includes Bonanza Creek Energy (Senior Vice President of Finance from October 2012 to April 2016), Bijou Capital Management (Founder and Portfolio Manager from December 2010 to June 2012), Saracen Energy Advisors (Director and Portfolio Manager from December 2005 to May 2010), Simmons & Company International (Vice President of E&P Equity Research from February 2003 to November 2005), Goldman Sachs & Company (Equity Research Associate from January 2002 to February 2003) Simmons & Company International (Equity Research Associate from October 1999 to February 2003), Nesbitt Burns Securities (Investment Banking Analyst from July 1998 to October 1999), and John S. Herold (M&A Analyst from January 1997 to July 1998)
Ryan was born and raised in Fort Morgan, Colorado and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a past member of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association’s Advisory Board of Directors. Ryan is a board member and treasurer for the University Park Community Council and coaches youth basketball and football.
Steen Jergensen is Vice President – Geoscience for Clear Creek Resource Partners. Steen has over 20 years of experience related to geological evaluation and asset management in the upstream oil and gas sector.
Until joining CCRP, Steen worked for Newfield Exploration beginning in 1998 as a Geologist in the Gulf of Mexico. In 2004, Steen was part of the team that executed Newfield’s entry into the Rocky Mountains through its acquisition of Inland Resources. Since that time, Steen worked in Newfield’s Denver office as a Development Geologist, New Ventures Geologist and Asset Manager for the Monument Butte field.
Steen was born and raised in Arvada, CO and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a registered Professional Geologist in Wyoming.
Larry Lillo is Vice President – Land for Clear Creek Resource Partners. Larry has over 30 years of experience related to land management and asset acquisition & divestiture across the Rocky Mountain region, Permian Basin, California and the North Slope of Alaska.
Larry has been based in Denver, CO throughout his career and was most recently the West Division Land Manger for Samson Resources Company. While at Samson, Larry provided support for over $700 million in asset transactions. Larry has also worked for Savant Resources, Rincon Exploration, Tom Brown, HS Resources, Bonneville Fuels Corporation and Union Pacific Resources.
Larry was born and raised in Wheat Ridge, CO and graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science (Business) degree, majoring in Minerals Land Management. He served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Oil & Gas Association from 1997-2002 and as a Director of the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen from 2003-2005.
Bill Martinez, CPA & APA, is Vice President – Finance & Controller of Clear Creek Resource Partners. Bill has over 20 years of experience and knowledge of oil and gas accounting and business practices.
Most recently, Bill has served as the owner of WJM Consulting LLC which provides accounting and general business consulting services to clients primarily in the oil and gas industry. From April 2011 to June 2015, Bill served as the Vice President of Finance for Savant Alaska LLC. From January 2006 to April 2011, Bill served as the Controller for Savant Resources LLC. Prior to joining Savant Resources LLC, Bill was in public accounting for over ten years, mostly working for one mid-sized CPA firm in Colorado.
Bill was born and raised in Westminster, CO and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado. Bill is a licensed CPA in the State of Colorado and is a current member of the AICPA, Colorado Society of CPAs and Council of Petroleum Accounting Societies National and Colorado.
Ian Myers is Vice President – Operations of Clear Creek Resource Partners and oversees the company’s drilling, completion and production activities.
Most recently, Ian served as Operations Manager for Emerald Oil responsible for subsurface engineering. Ian has also served as Operations Engineer in the Greater Green River Basin for Samson Resources Company and Drilling & Completions Engineer for ExxonMobil onshore in Texas and California and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, California and Angola.
Ian was born and raised in Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Petroleum Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
